Jurien Bay Who's Who
Public Profile

I'm a Masters Trained Play Therapist here to support children with big emotions and big behaviours through the power of therapy using play.
Harmony Play therapy offers a gentle, developmentally appropriate way for children to explore feelings, make sense of their experiences, and build confidence.
Because it doesn’t rely on talking, it’s especially helpful for children who find it hard to express themselves with words, helping them feel more settled emotionally, behaviourally, and in their relationships.
Play Therapy is helpful for children experiencing big emotions and big behaviours, neurodivergence, or trauma.

Distinguished and Famous people from Jurien Bay
⚓ Captain Hamelin
French naval commander Jacques Félix Emmanuel Hamelin sailed the Naturaliste along this coast in 1801 as part of the expedition led by Nicolas Baudin. The voyage contributed European charts and names, including Jurien Bay and the nearby mounts Lesueur and Peron. The bay was named for naval administrator Charles Marie Jurien, rather than for someone who settled there. Hamelin’s connection is the recorded coastal passage and surveying expedition, within country already known to Aboriginal people. Those names preserve one chapter of the coast’s navigational history.
